So today's topic i about custom doll clothing construction!
One of our members
put up a question on our wall about needing some help making a costume for a character concept doll, and I thought this would be a good chance to open up discussion on how we all go about making custom doll clothes. I am a very big fan of draping myself. Draping being "hold it up to the doll, pin it, cut it sew it, type of thing. I tend to make my own patterns for my bigger LittleDead dolls (I don't think they're in this group because they aren't technically customized. If you want to see, check out my gallery under Dolls I think)
So what do you do? Do you use patterns? Handsew? Machine Sew? (Gosh those tiny stitches are hard to manage on a huge machine huh?)
